Se activó el Gobierno de Salud Ampliado, con reuniones diarias y monitoreo para analizar la situación y tomar las medidas pertinentes. The Expanded Health Government was activated, with daily meetings and monitoring to analyze the situation and take the appropriate measures.
Desde enero se iniciaron acciones concretas como sanitazación del Aeropuerto Internacional, colocación de cámaras termográficas en las diferentes fronteras del país. Se restringe el libre ingreso de extranjeros, paulatinamente, hasta determinar que ningún extranjero puede ingresar a El Salvador, por ninguna vía. The free entry of foreigners is restricted, gradually, until it is determined that no foreigner can enter El Salvador, by any means.
Los salvadoreños, extranjeros nacionalizados y diplomáticos que ingresen al país, entrarán a cuarentena de 30 días sin excepciones y sin privilegios. Cualquier persona, salvadoreña o extranjera, que intente entrar al país por puntos ciegos será arrestado.
